To enhance the international reputation of Jinan Medical Center (hereinafter referred to as the JMC) and firmly establish it as a global leader in medical innovation, the “Healthy City, Welcoming Both Near and Far: Jinan Medical Center Domestic and International Media Promotion Event” was held on December 23 at the Jinan Press Building. The event was organized by the JMC Management Committee, hosted by Jinan Daily Press Group, and supported by the Jinan Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese. Representatives from major national media outlets such as People.cn and China.com, as well as international media representatives including France Economic Online and European Business News, gathered alongside local media such as Dazhong Daily and Qilu Evening News to experience the growth of the “Medical City”.

The event opened with a promotional video of JMC, vividly showcasing its achievements in medical technology innovation, healthcare service improvement, and health industry development, as well as its vision to become a leading healthcare and innovation hub integrating medicine, education, research, production, and healthcare.

During the event, Jinan Medical Center released the “New Quality Productive Force Scenario Opportunity List”, covering five key areas and 32 specific scenarios.

Representatives of key projects from JMC presented its achievements in various sectors including healthcare services, industrial funds, medical equipment, and industrial carriers, highlighting the center’s comprehensive development.

To enhance the international recruitment efforts and strengthen international communication capabilities, six global experts were appointed as “City of Springs Advocates—International Promotion Ambassadors for JMC”. These experts included Kim Sang-woo, Northeast Asia Director of the Korea Small and Medium Business Administration, Stanley Lau, Founder and CEO of Taylor Biological, Hao Jie, Vice Chair of the BRICS Committee for International Cooperation Healthcare in China, Wang Chunbo, Co-founder of Huibo Tech Innovation, Hao Qiang, Vice Chairman of the Netherlands Technology Entrepreneurs Association’s Senior Talent Committee, and Meng Meng, President of the German Chamber of Commerce in Shandong. These ambassadors will also join the “Qiao Yu Jinan” international communication network. In addition, a strategic cooperation agreement was signed between Jinan Daily Press Group and the JMC Management Committee, and Jinan International Communication Center will focus on JMC’s needs, dig deep into its distinctive resources, integrate content, and launch a series of multimedia products that are creative in content, innovative in form, and widely spread.

The event fully utilized the power of media promotion to tell the world the story of JMC’s construction and development, adding a bold chapter to the overseas dissemination of the “City of Springs” story. It also attracted attention from numerous high-quality projects and top enterprises from both domestic and international markets, which will contribute to deepening exchanges and cooperation in fields such as healthcare, scientific research, and education, and play a significant role in building an internationally influential health and life industry ecosystem.

On the same day, the “Focus on a Beam of Light and Witness the Rise of the Medical City” Jinan Medical Center Themed Photography Exhibition was launched at the Jinan Press Building’s Sunshine Hall. A series of vibrant images vividly depicted JMC’s journey over the past seven years, from its grand blueprint of “the first ray of sunlight, everything is yet to grow” to the development process of “hundreds of boats racing in the current, with many ships competing”. A new medical city, featuring a green ecology, livability, suitability for business, high efficiency, and integration of industry and urban development, is rapidly rising in the western part of Jinan.

After the event, domestic and international media representatives visited the JMC to gain an on-the-ground understanding of its planning, project construction, and innovative achievements, experiencing firsthand the dynamic innovation and development potential of this vibrant area.
